Thinking about a week in France in early September

Any recommendations on campsites or wildcamping spots between Cherbourg and Mont Saint-Michel would be appreciated

As would any general info ferries, recent experiences etc

There is a good aire at Mont Saint-Michel, its the one facing the campsite not the one in the carpark facing the island. It was about 8 euro per night with hook up and they has a long urinal for gentleman to wee in.
