Personally as they are an integral part of the 'so called' cab heating system and they just as much of a swine to fit if all the studs are shagged ,I'd by buying a good quality one.
Remember you only get what you pay for,,,,,cheep and cheerful is a waste of money....

Due to GSF's inability to catalogue T3s properly you have to look in watercooled for heat exchangers - not obvious!
20118 HEAT EXCHANGER-LH T25 2.0 Air Cooled 5/79 > £96.00
20119 HEAT EXCHANGER-RH T25 2.0 Air Cooled 5/79 > £96.00
And if you want to know the difference between original quality VW parts and aftermarket ones take a look at these pics and notice the fins that do the exchanging of the heat - more surface area = more heat to the cab.
You decide whether the extra cash is worth the extra heat and better quality of manufacture.

Thanks for the prices and pictures Keith,I had heard mutterings about the fins inside being smaller but those pics say it all!!!!
Do we know what quality GSF stock??
Has anyone out there bought any recently??
