Ooh, now that's rather hot

So driving to work today, mainly A roads but a bit of urban driving too. Towards the end of the journey, there was a lot of stop/start and the temp went up, but fan kicked in as and when, so that was okay.

But ... I'd taken the cab mat up to clean and hadn't put it back so I was surprised at how hot the metal work got from between the seats and towards the gear stick. Too hot to touch for any length of time.

Is that normal, or do I need to start investigating?

Thanks

Oh good.

Think I might graft a griddle on there and have a bacon sarnie after such journeys.

Cheers Kev.
