urgent clutch pipe issue - Help!!:)

Hey All
so the vans nearly finished, just the curtains to go back in and then on the drive, the clutch pedal goes to the floor.
A quick peak under and a big puddle of fluid says enough.
Now - it appears that the metal pipe has corroded just before the union with the flexi-pipe. possible from chafing against the cross member.
How fiddly is the whole pipe to replace and does anyone know what size unions are fitted, so I can get one made up?
Also we use stainless steel compression joints at work rated to 25 bar... could I make a short, foot long piece at work and couple it to the existing pipe? this would be a lot easier by the looks of it, but I need to know the outside diameter of the steel pipe less the plastic coating??
Oh and im supposed to be going camping next week!!!...
