Hi i've got a t25 2000cc Aircooled van,i took it on a drive the other day and it not accelerating very well. It seems to be holding back when i put my foot down in 3rd and 4th gear and it very sluggish and smells of petrol.

Can someone please give me some advice on this. A little worried as we are going away next weekend in her.

Maybe lift the engine lid before you go?

30 year old bread van that is dying on hills and stinks of unburnt fuel ....

Might just need a little service/overhaul before going off on holly jollies..

Do you have breakdown insurance

Its known as preventative maintenance...

Or you could always carry a lucky pebble..
