Plymouth Wedge Expert Required!

Evening All,
Anyone know of a reputable T25 mechanic in the Plymouth area (or perhaps a keen forumite!). I need to get some advice on my van (1.9 watercoled petrol DG) . I'm concerned I may have baked the head gasket after overheating on the M5 coming back from London and need to get this tested before I start throwing cash at the cooling system.
To cut a long story short - van overheated a month ago - had it looked at away from home - non vw mechanic flushed, bled and filled system (diagnosed it on thermo &/or airlock) and all seemed tikkety bo for approx 1500 miles. Then it over heated again only this time the buzzer did not go off and I did not realise the temp was 'right up there' until it really was 'right up there'! I refilled & bled the system today and it seems to running as well as it did before. I did a compression test after warming the van up which came out as :
Cyclinder 1 - 155 psi
2 - 150 psi
3 - 152 psi
4 - 165 psi
which from what I understand is OK. However from what I have read on wiki tonight this is not totally reliable as diagnosis and I really want a second opinion from an expert!
All help and phone no's appreciated!
Cheers
Gareth
