Seen both these good links over the last couple of days ~ was just wondering if we could gather a list of "..below £10 a night sites..." for future reference; would love to wild-camp but really prefer a few home comforts when I have the boy!
Answers on a postcard please!!

Best to join the caravanning club then - some sites are only £4-£5 a night. For the annual fee, the gains on reduced pitches are well worth it.

Here's one at £7 per night in the New forest

£5 for 24 hours after October 1st.... go to sleep and wake up withion 10 feet of the beach.
OK - it's not a campsite. The bogs shut at 10pm and reopen at 8am (not a prob if you've got a RADAR key), and there's no showers or hookup...but it's our current favourite sleepy spot and worth the fiver for location alone
£10 for 24 hours after April 1st - but you get to spend the whole day there for that - although you'll usually be sharing with another 30 or so vans, mini winnie's, and transhites....

Hulme End in the Peak District. Lovely spot right next door to the Manifold Inn and only £4 per night. Don't mistake it for some of the more expensive sites in that village. Oh and you might need levelling blocks
