What are these for?

Pump again sorry, what are the two electrical connections(other than the stop solenoid ) for and can they be bypassed, anyone know?

If you are referring to the two blue female/made spade connectors, they are certainly something fitted by a PO. Try and trace them back to see what they are connected to before attempting to plug them into each other.

It is the 2 pressure type switches that are confusing me?

Hi Kit,
one's a pre-heater which you can connect if you want, the other's an early immobiliser I think. You don't actually need to connect either. Bit strange leaving stuff disconnected but it should be fine.

Thanks It was the only pump I could find on Ebay and mine only has 1 connection for the stop solenoid so I was hoping/praying this one would do?

If a 1.6 pump will run on a 1y I was wondering if this might be a good alternative?
