Beauty, I've heard about this one in the past, finally made it's way into the market..

What a story!!

I'm surprised VW have not got a hold of this for their museum?? As much as I think it would be great to see it used, it's so original i'm not convinced I could take it off-road!

Just what I would do.
Like everyone else when I first read about this van I thought yes if I had the money I would buy it, but having thought about it for a bit I started getting picky, it's only got rear diff lock and with such little use I would imagine nearly all the engine and gearbox seal will be knackard, and no-doubt will need replacing.

I think it's such a shame to see any car / van this old with such low mileage, if it was mine I'd be all for keeping it low mileage and in mint condition but would still use it, if I win the lotto this weekend I know it would be clocking up the miles soon :ok
