Errrrr , im habving some trouble fitting my swivel base, dont know if its just me being thick or what.
Right , this piece will mount to the exsisting runner section using 4 drilled holes which line up bsng on.

i mounted it with the lever at the front.
this will (if im thinking right) alow the whole lot to slide back and forth.
the next bits im not too sure about.
i tried mounting this bit to the base but just doesnt look right, well it does but doesnt seam to fit.

the seat will then need mounting to this plate. yeah?
does the lever on the swivel section sit over the walkway?
Sorry but im confused.

Hello there I've seen these bases around when I've been looking for swivel seats. I'm courious too how they fit so when you find out how could you pop a pic up Ooohhhh I recon the leaver goes to the side. Near door or isle side preference is yours it looks like its the swivel leaver. The leaver to slide the seat should be the one already on your seat. Do you remove the runners and it bolts in its place or do you need to add some runners to the swivel so the seat just slides in.

Oooopppss I could be wrong just found a thread on swivel seats and it looks just like yours so you should have the right one.

How many plates does yours have, 3?

That looks like the type that I have fitted to my van. It might not be a bad idea to take it aparts and clean & lube -I used oil instead of grease- the roller bearing/ball bearings because if yours is anything like mine was, it was terrible to swivel due to all the grease inside hardening up and was also full of short bits of hair

God knows what the previous owner/s got up to in the thing.....

Probably best not to know what they got up to . If you do take it apart any chance of doing a series of pics . Pretty please .

No, I've already done the work and put everything back together. But it came apart easily enough, from memory, I just undid the centre nut and took the top plate carefully off, i.e if you dont, all the ball bearings run out cleaned everything, removed the short hairs [perhaps one of the previous owners ran a mobile barber service in it to help pay the petrol ] reassembled it and that was it. Didn't take too long and really improved it's operation.
