Either this is the same van doing the rounds on the small ads sites, or they made more than one of them...

I've seen at least 3 over the last few years, might all be the same van though.

Was this actually a "proper" conversion, or someone's homebuilt van?

Window looks like it's out of an american van, Chevy?

Whatever it is, it's ugly as sin.

Is cheap though, change the sliding door and could be a nice van...

Hope it's a 2 litre with that roof!

Wolswagen???

It doesn't appear to have been converted, it's just a panel van fitted with a high top & 3 windows of varying sizes.

the vans with that huge window , or one put in 90 degrees wrong, depending on your point iof view are a proper conversion, but I can never remember what

its something like Day Dreamer or Dayvan or summat

Thought it was genuine, especially as I'm sure I've seen more than one.

The question remains though, what were the designers thinking when they came up with the idea of putting a window so deep into the sliding door that they had to cut through most of the internal structure?

I think this is what they were trying to copy, or maybe even where they got the window from?



I'd love to see an internal shot, just to see how much work they had to put into cutting that window into the slider.

Still think it looks hideous. Inside looks comfy, but I don't even want to think what it must weigh...

E D I T: I don't know, I think the looks are growing on me, certainly different from the norm.

Compare the ''Wolswagen'' with the Liberty Van & they are not the same apart from the big window in the slider. Look at picture No.3 in the ''Wolswagen'' advert & there's no interior, just a big empty space. What's that board for behind the front seats? It's fixed at a 45 degree angle.

Agreed, it's probably just the door that's been fitted. Not that I'm interested in buying it, got a van and don't want a CU engine, or a hi-top. Was just interested to know what it was (or what the door was from). Still,could be a cheap van for someone who's looking for a LHD project and it's probably the only "Wolswagen" anywhere in Europe!
