As the title says. But what does it do on 2 l Aircooled cj?
Trying to isolate a running issue and have read about setting a gap, how important is it, or symptoms if it's set up wrong.

Appreciate any advice....
Thanks

It holds the throttle open just before idle and then slowly closes it to stop the throttle snapping shut which would causes high emissions from the engine and the engine idling speed to dip momentarily.
