Hi all, does anybody know if a rear double caravelle seat will fit directly in the front to replace the double front seat in a panel van as my front seat is in serious need of new upholstery or, if not any recommendations for upholsterers who are resonably priced?
Thanks all.

No, rear seat is either fixed to the floor (mid) or bolted to the sides (rear). Front seat slides on runners on top of the seat/battery box.

A double front seat requires either a bulkhead or a bar to support it. I fitted one to my old T25 and welded a strong metal plate to each of the sides to stop the seat back from falling backwards and so removing the need for any bulkhead or supporting bar. IIRC I also used a few bolts to help back up my welding.
