Dripping Vents

Just had a night away in the Westy...............absolutely chucked it down last night. Didn't have the roof up, but there was some really loud dripping noises. I think I traced it to the cooling vents at the back of the van. I think the water was dripping off the vents and dropping down inside making one hell of a noise. I remember seeing a topic about this previously but can't find it on the Wiki.

Any solutions?

There are many sufferers of this usually nocturnal occurence. dripping air vents Why the vents fan upwards no-one knows....or maybe someone does....?

There was a thread on this but probably lost now. The only solution seemns to be to get used to it or extend your guttering a bit at the rear with whatever youcan find to do the job.

I was on the Queriang on Skye in June in a really bad storm and the thought of the van being blown over distracted me from the dripping. It only seems to happen in really bad rain.

You don't notice it after a while...a bit like living next to a railway line
