the sill on my van seems to have crumpled a bit

after looking at it ive found that whatever the jacking point is attached to has rusted and started to collapse, is it a new outer sill i need ? thanks jeff

I think you may be underestimating that a bit. You will need to find out why it has collapsed like that. Is the inner sill any good? the inner arch is that solid? Plus the fact you need to straighten out the jacking point/suspension mount.
You need to have a good look/poke around everything as it is part of the main structure.

Inner sill has gone too by the looks of it. Not a quick or simple fix I'm afraid.

I don't think I would like to drive it in that condition. With the way the suspension point is it can't be that strong really.
I think you will probably be looking at
Inner sill
lower arch panel
rear mount
possibly the outrigger that welds to the outer sill/suspension mount.
There is a piece that is between the inner and outer sill which is like a strengthener. That may need looking at as well.
Not going to be a small job.
