New VT25 Owner - Tail Gate Struts - Resolved

Hi,
I've been the proud owner of a V25 1985 Pop-Top and need to replace the Tail Gate struts. I've purchased the struts but am struggling with how I get the current struts off. Does anyone know of a video available or drawing or something similar as my mechanical skills of hitting it with a hammer probably should stay in my pocket.
