Been trying to deal with this problem for a while, to try and figure out what the cause of loss of power was...

We sorted out the diagnostics socket and actually works, thanks for your help guys!!

Now...Yet another problem!! There seemed to be an error code coming from the mass air control unit, so that was changed. After this more error codes came up which were not there before. There is something wrong with the wiring around the mass air control unit, heat sensor and cooling system, etc. Cannot remember what exactly, some kind of open live wire.\

Now to continue I need a wiring Diagram for the setup.

Got a 1Z engine fitted from a 96 Golf, with an ecu from a passat which is part No: 028 906 021 B

Can someone supply me with a wiring diagram so that my mechanic can figure things out. Been trying to look for one, but with no avail.

I know you probably have all the diagrams you need now, but I find this pdf pretty succinct and useful for the MSA!5 68 pin ECU:

vw are great for being consistent with wiring colours which helps a lot when sorting out a loom.

I'm not sure what you're after. I've done installations just using the above diagram and it contains all the basic information you need. I, along with others, have tried to help by providing explanations, diagrams and photos and you've then started new threads asking the same question again. If that diagram isn't "useful", and my explanations aren't comprehensible, then I'm not sure what I can do to help.

Ewens Link above is your basic wiring diagram, any mechanic should be able to follow it with ease, its even got the wire in colour, most use codes, you will need the top link to get the engine to run and the bottom link explains what you need to connect, the only other way round it is to get the loom converted for you, so you get it back with all the wires needed labeled as to what they connect to
