Hi. wondering if anyone can advise..

The carpet on the RHS, of A/S T25 1990 G Reg, has faded and decayed to dust. This is the carpet stuck on to the back of the wardrobe which catches a lot of sunlight through the boot window. I asked a carpet shop but they said there really is only one kind which is suitable and they had no more info. Also the back parcel shelf is looking tired and faded too. The wardrobe carpet is light fawn,

Would be helpful if anyone can help.

Just go to a decent motor accessories shop and ask then to order. Otherwise try a smaller carpet shop. They'll welcome the smaller business, bigger carpet shops just want to sell as much as poss and get the fitting contract too!. A dodgy way is to get some foam backed carpet of the right colour and "scrape" the backing off it. Evostick glue will do for the adhesive. I've done it before and it works, but a bit messy. Have you tried ebay for the proper lining carpet?

Mine went the same,the more I looked at it the worse it looked so I pulled it off,the dry/dusty stuff just pulled off and I used white spirit to get the remainder off,what was below was the same finish as the cupboards,was wlell chuffed,left it like that,just be a bit careful if using a scraper
