Does any one know the height of the roof when raised to the van roof please? (roughly) I have just bought some new struts based on the length of the old ones, the new ones are an inch or so longer, and when we manually lifted the roof it was still a few inches of putting the strut into place and their was an ominous cracking sound as the roof has never opened on its own since we had the van I am a bit worred that if we lift the roof any higher the brackets will snap!

this is the van i am attempting it on. Any reply appreciated

I had the same problem when i renewed mine , but now ive got all four new ones inn its great. call me for futher detail or help .
