what do members do regarding plywood floor as i cannot find a piece big enough is it ok to have a join???

Do the join under the kitchen units if you have them or under the seat base. You will see a join through vinyl. The cut is about 1600x1600 in new money but you will only be able to but it 1200 as you have found out.

I joined under the seat and the kitchen units.

yeah i have a twin slider aswell so no kitchen units

if you join in a visible area you need some joint tape from the carpet fitters/suppliers
