Alternative Aircooled Engine

im thinking about fitting a new engine to my 2L Aircooled.

The cost of converting to watercooled is high and was wondering if anyone produces an Aircooled engine which is more economical than my current 2L.

Power isnt so important but fuel economy is.

Any suggestions.
Thanks
Neal

Just go LPG.
Cut your fuel bills down for sure!

If your engine needs a good overhaule i would suggest you go for a recon unit first. Once everything is a ok then go for an lpg kit.

Be prepaired to spend your money as a good unit without any replacement ancilleries will set you back £1500.00.
You will need to replaces all your gaskets for inlet and exhaust and anything that falls apart when your changing over.

Allow approx £500 plus labour unless you do it yourself.

LPG kit approx £800- £1000.

So you have just spent £3000+ on your bus :?
Now does it warrent it?
