hi lads can anyone shed some light on how to balance the twin solex carbs on my 2lt cu engine,or some links to some info.
everything i find seems to relate to bay window vans and not the t25.
Everything i read talks as if you all ready know what every screw is called already and just gives you the details in technical talk without pics or exploded
views explaining witch screw is which,so im just looking for an exploded view of the carbs so i can learn what parts are what or an explanation in laymans terms how to balance the carbs.
thanks and regards.
mick.

Yes some of them had the twin solex.....
Grab hold of the Haynes manual for the late T2 BAY vans that had the CJ engine in and the section regarding these solex carbs is alot more detailed

Cheers

Read this: clickety click.

Excellent no-knowledge-assumed Solex PDSIT setup guide. You will need an airflow meter of some sort though, that needn't be expensive or difficult, I made my own.

Hello,

I think this may be the video you mean

There is b4 and after.

I will get round to doing a full how to rebuild carbs video, when I get time, and better software

Cordialement,

:ok
