im re trimming the interior of my Autosleeper trooper and got to the point round the windows.
Originally it had a brown vinyl that fitted behind the window seals and then up into the roofspace.
i dont want to be using the carpet for the roofspace then having to fit vinyl down to the window.
In all the ammassed wisdom on here do you think it would be iok using the carpet around the windows.
Do you reckon condensation from the glass would be likely to be held in the carpet then cause more dreaded rust?
Any thoughts much appreciated, Daz

I got carpets(only in name but really same material) they do soak up the running condesation but will eventually start to look grimey and become smelly if not replaced every ten years.

On the other hand, our Tin-Top camper has the original 25 year old grey "carpet" all over (ex Caravelle btw) and it is fine.

Our Hi-Top has white(ish) vinyl and in my opinion it looks a bit cold and clinical. I prefer the warm cozy look to be honest and one day I might tone the white vinyl down with some of that stretchy carpet.
