Vacuum T piece source?

The vacuum T piece which sits close to the vacuum reservoir W 251 711 862 seems to have gone NLA from main dealer.
classic parts.de list it as "251 711 862" at €11.58 which seems a bit steep as the last main dealer price was £1.85.
Is there an alternative and how many are used on Syncros? I only know of the one.

An ebay gander found these for £1.95, might these do? Although they seem rigid not flex like the OE part.

What have you used?

you`ll neeed to use short flexi pipe on each end to mate up to the hard vac pipe but that should work fine aslong as the bore size is compatable.

Patrick, I can get a 4mm push fit equal Tee if you have difficulty sourcing one locally - I've converted all my vaccum system to push fit, so much easier!

Patrick there are 3 on a double difflock van in total they were more like £8 from VW before they went obsolete I'm sure, even the little ones that go onto the rear vac unit were a price. I have 4mm id silicon hose and the nylon vacuum lines in stock but no new three ways I'm afraid
the ones in the dash tend to last ok though, just the one by the one way valve under the van that has a hard time

Thanks chaps. I've ordered one and will see if it fits along with the braided flex hose I've already got for connections between all the parts.
