Hello Folks,
Been offered a reasonable short engine to rebuild the broken camshaft one.
Snag, one head bolt snapped in the replacement engine. I've see offers to remove in USA for $50 but don't know anyone round here (Cambridge).
Anyone done it or know where to go?
Bring me good news please!
Bolts on my old engine are in top condition as I always used distilled with anti freeze! I recommend you do the same!
Thanks in advance

Thanks for that Docklad.
I was aware of the basic how to do it but the snag is the depth into the water chamber and the break is not easy to grind flat etc. I was hoping for first hand experience.
Did you do it like this?

I did. My sheared bolds were the engines mountain ones,3 in total. Took me the best part of a day but eventually go them.

Hi Nitmoi, whilst I cannot help you directly, may I (politely) suggest you follow the forum recommendation of stating what engine we are talking about here (I am assuming flat 4 petrol - yes ?) It will help you get accurate replies to your query.
