Alternative oil filler for inline engines

Never really thought about this but it seems that SA buses have a different (and more convenient) oil filler tube/funnel than the one fitted to german-built diesel vans (or 2E conversions etc), no funnel required:

068 115 285 part number, might be SA-specific or borrowed from something else like a VW industrial engine?

E D I T: You would of course need the metal tube companion part as it seals with an O-ring and has guides to keep the filler upright...

I tried filling mine up that way the first time but didn't have the patience. Far better going straight in to the rocker cover. I would only use the extension piece if I was desperate to top up whilst the boot was loaded. However, as I don't use any oil between changes, this is unlikely to happen.

I ATP'd it and even in the ZA section the part number's not listed, just ----------- and NLA. Now if someone made an elbow like that to plug into the slide-out part of the JX oil pipe, they'd be onto a winner...
