Hi,

Has anyone had any issues or can advise on the best bike rack for a Autohomes Komet? Want to carry 2 adult bikes+ possibly one kiddies one but have the whole ladder thing on the tailgate! Vainly tried my Fiamma T2 one from our last bus but that doesn't fit (it's for sale by the way and has only been used once!).

Any pointers kindly received

If you've got a tailgate ladder, then a towbar-mount is probably the only real option.

TBH, after this Fiamma, I'd probably go towbar-mount next time anyway.

We have the same van and use a Thule bike rack on the tow bar - it holds 3 bikes comfortably

We have a ladder and have used a Fiamma and now a Paulchen rack with no issues at all. I guess the fittings for a bay tailgate will be different to a T3 though so could account for some of your problems

I have a fiamma rack fitted and a rear ladder,only fit it when I need to use it,real pain to wash the rear of the van with it fitted,if I ever have a tow bar fitted I will get thule type rack
