Planning a future excursion over the sea to explore Northern France, Belgium and Holland.
I am looking at camping on Walcheren Island and touring round that area as my grandfather fought there in WW2.
Has anyone stayed in the Vlissingen or Wassenaar areas of Holland? I aim to give the kids some time at the water park at Duinrell.

We stayed here
http://www.koningshofholland.nl/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Great site for kids, free indoor pool and only a couple of kms away from the beaches at Noordwijk and katwijk
Not a cheap site but our kids (ages 5 & 7) loved the free entertainment even though it was in Dutch!!

Stayed at Duinrell in 2010 for four days, plenty of camping area on site and the kids will love it. The little cafe on the opposite side of the road from the main entrance does a superb frikendela special. Shops are pricey in wassenaar as its a posh bit of holland so my dutch mates tell me. Nice market once a week on the land next to the above mentioned cafe and theres an aldi for supplies. We asked at reception and the staff happily gave us a map of the town and marked where both the supermarkets where only about fifteen minutes walk from the site. Food on the site is very expensive the supermarket on site not to bad but far more expensive then the town. Loved it there fantastic place.

Thanks for that!
We have been looking at Duinrell as we fancy taking the tribe to the water park/adventure park.
