Numpty Question time!

Need to fit a 240v hook up to our van. Having not done this before, I don't know what end of the round three pin plug goes into the van? Male or female end?
Sorry for such a newbie question!

The female part attaches to the van.TBH.You might be better off getting someone with a better knowledge of electrics,to do this for you.

Thnik about what you can touch if you put your finger in the end of the plug and it is switched on.
