Hi all ,
Looking for some advice as to best way to start looking for a bad earth. I just hope thats the problem.
some backround to how i got here first

I have taken the dash off to replace what was a dud fan motor(PAIN in the ASS) fitted replacement, also wired up a switch in cab to run rad fan on those hot days and also fitted a cigarette socket(for the power source).
after getting everything back together i then replaced the fuel tank and sender (fuel tank gauge works now ..Bonza)and replaced the RAD.

No doing my pre mot check everything looked in good shape come the light tests.
1.Front right h/lamp only on side light with dipped selected
2. When i selectfull beam the cabin fan runs (Wife thought this was hilarious and then asked "what have you done?" )
3. The temp and oil flashing light dont extinguish as they should even thought they were fine before adn go out with engine running.

i have disconnected the cig socket and the fan switch from the system and it still happens.

How best to go forward?
Hope someone electrical out there can help :? and i promise never to say a bad word about electricians ever again
But you've got to admit it is black magic :)

The 'traditional' route to curing dash electrical problems starts at the earth crowns above and behind the fusebox. Since you've had the dash out though, check the PCB flexible ribbon connection is secure and the instrument panel switches rear plugs are secure too.

Thx 1664, cleaned up those earth castles and replaced all the connectors. All good.
Big thanks
