Any site recommendations for the Gower peninsula. Preferably in shooting distance to a pub but not essential :lol:

I recommend: http://www.nicholastonfarm.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Went there a couple of weeks ago – lovely part of the world. Yo can walk to Oxwich bay to a bar. :D

Beware of the wind though – a force 8 destroyed our Outlaw awning at 4am. :evil:

We stayed here over Easter and it was quite good, http://campervanculture.com/2012/04/cam ... 2-weekend/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Right on the beach, nice coastal walks, awesome rock pools, average looking pub, hot showers etc...

You want my honest reply - keep driving west for another hour or so - to the St Davids area... :D Gower is lovely, but North Pembs is kinda blow your socks off stuff! pen-cwnwc farm and porthclais farm my faves, and carfai bay site is within walking distance of britain's smallest city but still has amazing views... eben the dog takes time to drink in the scenery...

I would agree with the above and for some strange reason the campsites on Gower are expensive, must be a special 'Gower tax' :rofl

Can't argue with comments about expensive on campsites on Gower but we can call up to heaven at local rates from here!

There are loads of small sites on Gower that no one really knows about. If anyone is coming this way send me a pm and I'll forward some inside info.

Cheers Rich.

I've been to Porthclais Farm at St Davids a few years back. Looking to Broaden my horizons before possibly heading back that way later in our 10 day trip :D
