Have you cleaned up the earthing points on top of the engine yet? That did it for me after some good advice on here.

Hard for me to understand why this worked.
My guess is that a bad earth at that point results in one or more of the signals going to the ecu being 'off' within a certain temperature range. But if someone would explain properly I'd appreciate it.

do you mean turning over sluggishly but fine when cold?
Check battery connections and battery earth to body, and earth strap from gear box to chassis as well. Not that this explains why it's only doing it when it's warm mind.............

Brand new battery so always starts fine from cold now.
But after a short run it sort of starts but putts and farts and dies when you put your foot on the gas.
Going back to square 1 and following this method

Maybe mine's different then.
Does low battery mode meaning turning over lazily rather than coughing and spluttering like mine?
By the way, just tested my coil (with grey sticker) with multi-meter as per Haynes
Says Primary Resistance should be 0.5-0.8
Actually 1.2
Says Secondary Resistance should be 6.9k-8.5k ohms
Actually 10.39k ohms
Maybe a little trip to GSF is in the order in the morning before the camping trip but does it sound like THE problem or just A problem to you?
