Good, bad or about right?

Evening All

Just got back from the beach, had a terrible surf, but I did see off my first tank of LPG en route.

So, for £36 quid I got 170 miles, non motorway, Devon country lanes and A roads, 30 to 50 mile runs at a time. 1987, 2.1 petrol Caravelle with all the seats in.

I know some of you are well rehearsed in fuel economy so would appreciate your thoughts......

Thanks

Greg

That sounds similar to what I get in my 2.1 auto.
Mines a pop top camper though so maybe a little more weight.
But I'm a bit disappointed too...

that's pretty consistent with what I get, it's not great fuel economy but hey it's a lovely engine, meant for the bus, and it's still the same one it left the factory with 24 years ago
I can afford to keep putting fuel, oil and air in it and changing the filters

Thanks guys, appreciate your comments. I didn't think it was to bad all things considering.

The LPG is a faff to fill up though, took me 5 mins to get the connection thing on today, felt like a right tool in the garage!
