Hi guys, There are many sound proof products on the market. Do they work? is there a make or particular sort that is better or is there one to stay away from?. Is it best through out the van or only over the engine. Does it help reduce road noise????? Just wondered as it is rather load in there!!!

What you can hear is the road noise from a two tonne van and the gentle fluff of wind as it travels smoothly over your big tin box
you can mute it but it never gets to modern standards... a pointless exercise for me

well roofing felt is no where near as good as flash banding for sound deadening, plus felt stinks when it gets hot, which some times happens in the uk!
