Diesel engine mystery

Hi guys for some reason I can't work out my engine seems to have raised itself in the engine bay which I think is from the shipston meet I can't see how,as there doesn't seem to be any damage underneath. The corner of the top of the injection pump is now touching the engine bay cover and is rubbing off it. At first I thought it may have been the engine mount bolts which would sometimes get pulled out of the block due to corrosion but all looks good there any ideas guys ? will post some pics tomoro thanks in advance

Hi Paul, some thoughts and whatever anyone says (including yourself youknows), you were giving it some real off-road stick at Shipston - but hey, weren't we all, espesh when no-one was looking, haha...

1) Bash-plate deformed upwards and pushing engine up too on on those highly compliant mounts

2) Hooked up somehow, exhaust, inlet, something tying it up.. (gotta have been moving a round a bit, jumping jack flash style, surely :|

3) It got sick of being mashed get smash - so is being highly strung until you promise to treat it gently - expect it sounds a bit alto, soprano, the revcounter will tell :idea Let it down gently the poor thing....................

Or issues at nose end of gearbox causing engine to tip up at the back.

Yep we were weren't we clive while the cats away   especially Jenny
well done Clive :ok was a bit puzzled as there didn't appear to be any obvious dents to the bashplate or subframe, well apart from previous scars   but after taking it off you can see the offending articles note the rub marks from the bash plate
