Found this stuff in my local Wiko's and it claims to repair exhausts. Wondered if anyone has used it before? It was £5 a go!

I would have thought that our silencers being so close to the engine would run hotter than a normal one and therefore epoxy wouldn't be much use - not sure, just a thought.

I've used this and similar several times to repair small holes in an exhaust. On me van I've only used it to repair a small section that is like a heat shield for the air intake and its been fine. I've also used it in the past to repair small damage to a petrol tank. All in, bloody good stuff, but clean the area before to get good adhesion, and class it as a temp job, even though it may last a good while
