Body work repairs Essex

Hello

Firstly I suppose I should introduce myself.

I'm Tom from Essex. Today I put a deposit down for my first T25. So this is the first of many requests and begging from fellow members!

The van I've brought is pretty clean but could do with some cosmetic repairs.

It could really do with a respray and some of the seams sorting.

Can anyone recommend me a body shop that specialises in T25 repair? Prefereably in Essex or the South East but willing to travel for a good job. I'm just concerned about getting the repairs done only for bubbles to reappear a couple of years down the line.

Thanks in advance.

Tom

hi welcome,
sorry but something will reappear a few years down the line , short of removing the panal(splitting the seams) you can do a lot to slow it, and also eradicate a fair ammount never 100%, and cosmetic it may be , but.......
mm :ok

Micky

I'm guessing you know a thing or two about T25's and rust?!

Do you complete body restorations?

Tom

Whereabouts in Essex are you? There is a place near Braintree (Rayne Auto) and one in Colchester (Superbeetles).

Hello

I'm based in Rayleigh. Do you have any experience of their work?

Cheers

Tom

Superbeetles expensive and I know them of old, not all of it good. Better to find someone with a lot of experience and the patience needed to do the work. Asking local VW clubs would be your best bet and go from there.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Hopefully I'm going to Battlesbridge at the weekend. Meeting a mate. It would be rude not too as it is only 5 minutes down the road!

Hope fully its not too boggy as the weathers set to be fair......at last.
