18" BBS

Hi , could any body tell me what I need to fit if at all possible, a set of 18" BBS alloys to my '85 caravelle ?? Got a set here and would be nice to get 'em on my van :D They came off a MK4 Golf Cheers.

Pretty sure the pcd on a mk 4 is 5x100. I doubt they're strong enough for a van either

Yep 5X100 so they'll not fit.

go on ebay and type in vw wheel adapters then go in wheels and tyres section on the left and they have the adapters for your van,hope this helps,cheers dave :ok

Wrong!
MK4 Golf BBS alloys will be approx ET33-38 so with adaptors they would then be ET13-18 at the very most so won't fit a T25....never mind the fact they're designed for a hatchback and not a 2 ton van!

Dave if you're going to give out info please make sure it's correct before doing so....it will save someone a whole lot of grief and money!

Check the offsets and load rating before buying and if they're Midland Wheels versions...don't bother!

Get proper wheels and have done with it would be my advice.

Read all the info & tips on here and make up your own mind; but do it properly rather than on the cheap....
