A bit of a long shot I know, but I've gone though everything that was packed that w/end, jacket pockets, emptied all the hidey holes in the bus, the "little shelf by the hall phone" where I put all my male pocket detreitus, but I can't find this:

I bought it on a Surrey Scouts Expo to the Bernese Oberland in 2009; it was #1 son's first overseas experience, good memories of that trip every time I use it.
Don't suppose anyone picked it up?

It was worth asking but you know when you get that bad feeling of "it should be here, but it's not"... I so rarely lose anything (first penknife did 14 years before #1 posted it in the kitchen bin as a toddler) but I'm getting more philosophical about mere stuff these days.

I still hate losing things :x

I did a sweep of the campsite for litter on the Monday and didn't see it in the paddock, sorry to say Ian.

No. It was a miserable experience, with hindsight. What an old bike :run

Found it! :D

Now I remember the "Ah good you're home now, sort this out for the kids" DIY job, that resulted in my knife being dropped into the house tool box...
