Some things you should keep your self...
Got my 17 year old son to help fit the 3/4 devon bed I have just finished 'doing up' last weekend. He has just finished secondary school with a 'Distinction in engineering' so thought he would be a whizz with the spanners. After putting the bed in situ we marked through the holes on the mounting brackets onto the rear bulkhead. I then got him to lie underneath and told him to watch for the drill bit emerging and to shout if it looked like I was going to drill anything important. After advising him that its not possible to text and watch for said emerging drill bit whilst lieing under a van he put his phone away. We drilled the holes and fitted new bolts and over sized washers underneath with him under van and me inside with socket driver shouting everything ok with lots of yes its fine replies. Set off to shopin van last night and only got 10yrds. On investigation the over sized washer has clamped the fuelpipe shut, just going out now to free it with the hope it has not ruptured it. As Peter Kaye says 'texting its the devil'
