Wanted. If you've had a transplant in yours, please can you pass on the details of the firm/mechanics used, include any negetive and positive notes and cost if possible.

In Essex the cost has been estimated at £3000 plus engine, though I've heard quite a few North England are a hell of a lot less!

Anyway, enough tekkin da pizz, £3000 for what exactly, we're working with not a lot of inromation here. £3k for straight swap + cost of engine, Cripes Essex girls are getting pricey

Ahh... but if you were saying £3k for a Subie conversion all bits supplied 'cept engine - that wouldn't seem SO bad...

yes i meant conversion.. haha.

i have a 1.9 petrol in my t25 atm, it doesn't seem pokey enough..and drinks too much, 20-25mpg isn't good enough.. or am i asking too much?

so i was hoping for a 1.9td or tdi or something along that line. Though depends on how much it will cost to install etc. I've read something about an adaptor plate and possible a new clutch but apart from that its apparently pretty easy or so im told. But then I'm not a mechanic, so would rather leave it to someone who does.

Contact Syncronutz or Simon Baxter to discuss an engine conversion like this. A TDI is very complex wiring-wise, or very expensive to replace the electronic pump with a mechanical one.

I'm sorry for my abbreviations, I didn't mean to offend anyone. I thought it would be just as easy to understand. Anyway, I'll get in contact with them asap and in future read my posts, before sumitting them and try n' use proper english.

which specific peugeot engine was that?

current 1.9 td 90bhp is from a zantia, but fitted to pug 205,309,405,605
citreon zantia,zx,xm
also have a 2.1 td fitted to my other van, from a pug 605 110bhp factory
wher in the country are you? both my vans should be at vanfest.

I have a Citroen ZX 1.9TD and the engine is just sweet !! Very reliable too !!

Is there a description anywhere 'how to' - for the citreon conversion?
Is it a case of DIY adapter plate - what about angle of engine & engine mounts?
