my understanding is that they are the same length, because you can interchange with 14" shocks (my 16" has 14" shocks) whether its worth the money, i don't know, but they were a grand a set last year

so look cheap now
Would just be nice to have the proper bits fitted

For the 16" fatty vans, are they a good match with Andreas springs?

The original 16" shocks seem to have come out as 'best buy' to put with Andreas springs now. You will need to put the shock extenders on them.
When I have put 50,000 miles on my new Trailmasters I may be in the market for some !

Maybe its just me but I always thought VW / Steyr Puch were much better at designing stuff for the Syncro than any aftermarket company or enthusiast. Shame I never voiced my opinion

I would'nt argue with that; but I think you could buy a small car for the price of the Boge shocks this time last year ?
But I have re-learnt a valuable lesson; never be an early adopter of unproven mods!

Time the British Govt was appraised of your theory Mark
Think I have the 16" HD rears...
A lot of the original OEM stuff was quite amazingly specced and built, and the shocks spring to mind
