I got some 32mm stainless steel exhaust pipe (a bit like ebber exhaust stuff) but it's not flexible enough

Does anyone know who sells the original stuff which was really lightweight and flexible.

I know what you mean - I have found that with 30mm stuff for Webastos - you can't get a tight curve on it. If I find some I'll let you know, you are in ducting territory really with that stuff as it doesn't get a flame on it like the heaters.

It says it is flexible but I wonder if it will always try to pull itself back straight?#

Just found a picture of what's on at the moment

That looks like aluminium ducting to me - are you certain that you need stainless?

I don't want stainless. I was given a length of stainless but it's too heavy and not flexible enough

The aluminium semi rigid ducting only comes in 40mm smallest size whereas my flue vent pipe is 32mm

I may have to find a way of packing the pipe up a bit

Though the silicone ducting looks good. Would I use gentle pressure with a jubilee clip on silicone to secure it?

That silicone stuff is tough - I have used it on a 3.2kw Webasto - ideal stuff - I have had it up to 200 degrees C. You only need to clamp it at the exhaust outlet with a jubilee clip.
Found some of the very flexible stainless HERE

Silicone it is. Because to be honest the ally stuff does split if flexed too many times :ok

Thinking a little more about it - you are better off with metal in this situation as this keeps warm which aids convection of any gases including CO.

Silicone ducting is normally reinforced with a glass ply. I used to supply it for ovens used for soldering printed circuit boards. I've never seen it split, it's really flexible, just make sure its the lined version. Try googling Flowtech if they won't deal direct with you there's probably a distributor near-by you can order stuff through.

I was looking for this too. I split mine recently but in the end, I decided to repair it with loads of aluminium repair tape around the split - not sure whether that was a good idea or not though.
