fixing new floor into van

Hi again guys n gals. my project t25 is moving along. Ive got to a point where ive had to remove the chipboard floor from the back. It was 'screwed' down? is this a normal way of fixing it? it seems to me that your just creating new rust problems as I've found under the chipboard. Do you people think its a good idea for me to cure all the rust and fill the holes then 'glue' in the new floor? I was going to use some insulation then glue plywood over this. Good idea or not?

I will also need to fabricate a new interior... anyone got any links to plans or video's?

Thanks in advance :)

personal choice on the floor .

yours has prob been down 20+ years so new screws and do you think you will still hav ethe van in 20+ years?

i have stripped vans and the floor has just be sat with no fixings , also various forms of sealer as a glue , as well as screws

alll the genuine vw wood floors i have removed have just been sat withou fixings , but they do use top quality board!

very true, Im sure the van will not be around in another 20 years. I'm still gona sort out the holes and glue in new floor, just as soon as i decide on the interior design :)
