Cab quarter window fixings

On my little quarter opening window in the cab, on the top bracket/fixing... the thread is knackered, therefore the glass is loose and causing a horrible annoying whistling sound as I'm driving :lol:

Does anyone know if/where I could get a new fixing? There's a few places that sell the glass, seals etc, but can't find the fixings anywhere

Failing that, I think as a last resort I could drill straight through the fixing... and put a nut and bolt through :(

Any ideas? :ok

Large pop rivet generally the best or at least most practical solution.

I think I've just found the parts

http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Hin ... tartRow=26" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

£30 for a full set of hinges (both sides)... not sure exactly how they're attached to the door/window frame... will do some investigating

Pop rivet is a good idea actually... I didn't think of that... As long as the pressure doesnt crack/shatter the glass :rofl
