Lower Valence

Hi Guys,
My lower valence is in need of repair:
I have chopped this from a donor van last week with the hope to use it either to chop and replace or if not too much of a job remove my whole lower valence and pop this good nick one on?
Is this as easy as drilling out these spot welds that run the length and the valence skin will come off the stronger frame behind it?

thats one rather odd way of doing it , why didnt you chop it of at tailgate level bas its esy to spot along there, i un pick the chassis legs and refix new as per boriginal , tis the quickest nicest way.
but as youve already got what you got then id frun with drilling the spots out and try find a way to join that is hidden maybe behind the bumper or wherever is easiest for you,

Unfortunatly a lot had already been chopped off so thats all there was left, only £30 so not too bad.

The original doesn't look too bad to me. Mine was just like that, so i had a marathon session with the wet and dry an orbital sander and prepped it ready for painting.

It has some holes though if you look closely. Figured might be easier replacing lot than the lil sections?
