When i bought my van ('85 1.9 petrol) i also got a bag containing instructions for intermittant wipers along with a no'99 relay (variable timing for wipers) and also a relay wiyh 21 paintwed on, it has 3 connectors numbered 31 49a and 49, ive done a search and come up with nothing also tried working my way through a wiring diagram but again cant find anything.
Question is, whats it for?

A quick search online suggests a 21 relay is for rear wipers or indicators/ flasher.
