1Z engine in T25..

As you can see it looks like a bodged job, no wonder oil comes out. My question is: Is there a way to mend to this? are the tubes used wrong?

My mechanic says that the cause of this is due to the engine been sideways, is this true and something that will oilways happen?

There is a puddle of oil on the floor don't know if this is because of this...

Hello,

Alex's right I reckon - no intercooler present - you really should have one. The 1z part you need is 1H0129654K - couple on ebay at the moment - that'll connect to the turbo compressor and give you an inlet for both the MAF and the CCV pipe. Alternatively you could find a silicone fitting I'm sure. Being at 50 degrees does cause a bit more oil to be into the induction tract because of the design of the CCV itself - but in a healthy engine without excessive blow-by it shouldn't be too much. Some people vent this pipe to a "catch-can" - but if you revert to standard jx pipe and catch can you'd still need to figure out somewhere to put an intercooler or chargecooler..
