If the cover you have is a die cast aluminium one , roughly square, you may find the later type plastic cover is narrower. I can check the measurements if you want but it wont be until wednesday.
Also bear in mind the following for non standard flue installations.
The "Lazy Tee" on the top of the chimney MUST be retained , it stops the flame from blowing out. But it can be turned to face a different direction.
The flue pipe MUST run uphill to the outlet.
If extended the extended pipe must be metal , flexible alluminium or stainless pipe is ideal (Propex might be able to supply suitable size?)
A longer flue pipe can lead to condensation forming and running back down into the burner - rusty burner problems !
Autosleeper used to "lag" the extended pipe with some sort of fiberglass material , needs to be heat proof.

Would love to hear how you get on. Got same problem with my Syncro being a twin slider and can't work out where to vent the fridge. My fridge is going behind the rear doors so really struggling to fit vent and still have enough room for the sliding door to open...
Been looking at compressor fridges to take the ball ache of finding a solution but don't like the though of it running my batteries down all the time. Seems gas just goes on and on...

Plastic cover is 90mm wide by 122mm high
Hole centres are 67mm across and 85mm high.
Still too wide I think but may look better cut down than the metal type ?
