Hi all

Post is pretty much what it says in the title.

I keep getting a chronically bad back when in the van. It is a 'normal' rock and roll bed, Westfalia factory fitted and in good nick so no worn through bits or springs but sometimes I get such a bad back i end up not sleeping or crawling out virtually on all fours in the morning.

I do notice it is even worse if the van isn't absolutely level so always try to get it dead even but even then my back aches.

Anyone have any advice or anything to put on the bed that 1) doesn't take up too much room and 2) not memory foam as that makes OH sweat (sorry)!

I have suffered from a bad lower back for about 40 years.

I "survived" my first weekend in the wife's T25 just a few days ago.

My solution is stretching before I get out of bed. I have a 10 minute routine for neck, back, knees, ankles and feet. Usually does the trick and was needed last weekend for sure.

All the many Physios, Osteos, Chiros I have seen say stretching is the key. Our caravan bed was better than the RnR bed but I can't see anything of a temporary nature doing the trick If you are a sufferer like me.

I had the same problem with my Westy i found that if i slept on the cooker side i got back problems but on the door side i did not. I know you say you don't fancy memory foam but i got a 1" topper and i put it in a duvet cover and this helps alot £20 0ff ebay may be worth a try.
